I Write Like………..

Thanks to my fellow WordPress writer, blogger, and friend Darren “D.C.” Gilbert for passing along this really interesting writing tool. It’s an analytical tool that allows writers to paste their own works into this website. The website quickly analyzes your writing style and gives you the name of a writer in which you are similar. I’m not sure if they always provide you with a really famous writer, but for D.C. and I they were definitely successful and famous authors.

After reading D.C.’s post, I decided to give it a whirl. I actually tried it twice. I used two different posts, “My Buddy Brad” and “History of….. The Butkus League” to see if they gave me the same author both times. Sure enough, they did! They informed me I write like………. Agatha Christie.

I’m not sure what to make of it. I’ve never read Agatha Christie, as far as I know. For more on the British writer, from the “I Write Like” website:

So I write like Agatha Christie. I’ll take it. “So I got that going for me, which is nice”.
