Illinois Fighting Illini (+2.5) over Minnesota Golden Gophers – We’re a little surprised the Illini are getting points at home versus a seemingly mediocre Minnesota squad. Sure, Illinois had a bad performance at #1 Oregon. Who doesn’t? Gary thinks Illinois will rebound. PICK: Illinois
Nebraska Cornhuskers (-6.5) over UCLA Bruins – Neb lost at Ohio State last week but have they possibly turned a corner? UCLA doesn’t seem very good. PICK: Nebraska
Indiana Hoosiers (-7.5) over Michigan St. Spartans – QB Kurtis Rourke returns for the Hoosiers. PICK: Indiana
Arizona Wildcats (+6.5) over UCF Knights – We think QB Noah Fifita is back on track after a mid-season slump. Likewise with star WR Tetairoa McMillan. PICK: Arizona
Clemson Tigers (-10.5) over Louisville Cardinals – Don’t look now but Dabo’s boys are playing well. PICK: Clemson
SMU Mustangs (-7.5) over Pitt Panthers – This SMU team is quietly very, very good. PICK: SMU

Chicago Bears (+1.5) over Arizona Cardinals – Last week’s Hail Mary was…… ugh. PICK: Chicago
New York Giants (+3.5) over Washington Commanders – Can the Giants follow their New York brethren, the Jets, by turning around a somber season with a home victory? Gary thinks so. PICK: New York
Cincinnati Bengals (-7.5) over Las Vegas Raiders – The Bengals NEED this one. PICK: Cincinnati
Dallas Cowboys (+3) over Atlanta Falcons – The Cowboys NEED this one. Lately they’ve been playing better on the road than at home. This one is in Atlanta. PICK: Dallas
Detroit Lions (-2.5) over Green Bay Packers – The Lions MIGHT be the best team in all the land. PICK: Detroit
IF QB Derek Carr returns to start: New Orleans Saints (-7) over Carolina Panthers – Gary is waiting on the injury status of Derek Carr in this game. If Carr is healthy, Gary will take the Saints to cover. If not, he’s changing his pick to the Bucs over the Chiefs.
IF QB Derek Carr does NOT return: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+8.5) over Kansas City Chiefs
Gary needs a big turnaround weekend to get back on track. His numbers from Week 9 will not do. 2-4 NFL? 5-7 overall?? C’mon man! We’re not expecting 12-0 but how about an 8-4 weekend!?!
