Arizona Cardinals at Chicago Bears Preview
Last we saw the Chicago Bears (4-7) was on Thanksgiving Day as they beat the Detroit Lions (0-10-1) in Detroit. Last we saw the Arizona Cardinals (9-2) was on the previous Sunday as they won at Seattle 23-13. Then Arizona rested during their bye week while the Bears had the “mini-bye”.
So now they resume the rest of the 2021 season. The teams are divergent. The Cardinals have the best record in the NFL and are looking to resume their dominance on the way to the Super Bowl. The Bears are… well, we’re not sure. They’re lost, as if in the muck of a World War I trench. When will Head Coach Matt Nagy be fired? Is GM Ryan Pace going to keep his job as the head of Bears personnel?
At 4-7, Chicago has little to look forward to this year. The once dominant defense is barely even average at this point. Plus, it seems everybody is injured. The team will fold soon in our opinion.

Sports Betting Dime
SportsBettingDime.com‘s formula has Arizona beating Chicago 23.0-16.7. Arizona is 8-3 ATS including 6-0 on the road, while Chicago is 4-7 and 2-3 at home.

Prediction:
Arizona is favored by 7.5 points. It’s surprisingly not a higher number, but we think it’s because Cardinals star quarterback Kyler Murray has missed the last three games with an ankle injury. However, he’s probably going to play on Sunday at Soldier Field. Meanwhile, the Bears have plenty of injury issues of their own. Players already going to miss the game for sure: Akiem Hicks, Khalil Mack, Danny Trevathan, Justin Fields, Mario Edwards, Marquise Goodwin, Damien Williams, and Germain Ifedi. Others that might miss the game are Allen Robinson, Tashaun Gipson, Cole Kmet, and Roquan Smith.
Andy Dalton is going to start at QB for the Bears. If Kyler Murray misses another game, Colt McCoy will lead the Cardinals. No matter who starts, we just don’t see the Bears winning this game. The Cards are one of the best teams in the NFL while the Bears are very mediocre, and fading toward the bottom depths of the 32 team league. Chicago may not win another game this season. PICK: Arizona to win big and cover the spread
Arizona Cardinals 34, Chicago Bears 13
Last week’s Prediction: Chicago Bears 20, Detroit Lions 16
Last week’s Final Score: Chicago Bears 16, Detroit Lions 14
2021 Season: Chicago Bears 4-7, Dutch Lion 10-1 (our only loss was the Las Vegas Raiders game)
