Houston Texans (+3.5) over Kansas City Chiefs – We were wrong AGAIN about K.C. Final Score: Chiefs won 27-19. Result: Lost

Detroit Lions (-6.5) over Chicago Bears – We actually predicted the exact score of this Bears game. Final Score: Detroit 34-17. Result: WON!

Los Angeles Rams (-3) over New York Jets – Los Angeles covered, winning 19-9. Result: WON!

Buffalo Bills (-14) over New England Patriots – Buffalo had another mediocre performance, but they indeed won, coming back from a 14-0 deficit to win 24-21. Result: Lost

Indianapolis Colts (-3.5) over Tennessee Titans – Indy covered the spread with an eight point victory, 38-30. Result: WON!

Arizona Cardinals (-3.5) over Carolina Panthers – Carolina won in Overtime, 36-30. Result: Lost

College Bowls (Saturday 12/28)

Nebraska Cornhuskers (-3.5) over Boston College Eagles – Gary didn’t want to join me with my ‘Huskers fandom pick, but here we are. Seriously though, Nebraska really wants to win this game, having not won a bowl game since the 2015 season. BC meanwhile, had their top player opt out. PICK: Nebraska

Miami Hurricanes (-4.5) over Iowa St. Cyclones – QB Cam Ward finished 4th in the Heisman voting. He’s surprisingly playing in this Bowl. PICK: Miami

BYU Cougars (+3.5) over Colorado Buffaloes – Don’t mistake yourselves, this game means A LOT out west. In Utah and Colorado, they care. PICK: BYU

CFP Quarterfinals (Tuesday 12/31 and Wednesday 1/1)

FIESTA BOWL – Penn St. Nittany Lions (-10.5) over Boise St. Broncos – I’m super confident that PSU will win S/U. The ten and a half points concern me. Gary is not concerned. PICK: Penn St.

PEACH BOWL – Arizona St. Sun Devils (+13.5) over Texas Longhorns – I’m confident that Texas will win S/U. The thirteen and a half points concern me. Gary is also concerned. PICK: Arizona St.

ROSE BOWL – Ohio St. Buckeyes (-2.5) over Oregon Ducks – This is a 50/50 game. A “pick ’em”. You don’t hear this term in the world of gambling very often anymore. But yeah, it’s a pick ’em. We’re banking on OSU to win the revenge game. PICK: Ohio St.

SUGAR BOWL – Notre Dame Fighting Irish (+1.5) over Georgia Bulldogs – Lots of uncertainty with UGA, surprisingly. However, starting quarterback Carson Beck is out because he just had UCL elbow surgery. In steps QB Gunner Stockton. Can he tame the fierce Irish defense? One hesitation with ND is star DT Rylie Mills is out with a knee. PICK: Notre Dame
