LOCK OF THE WEEK: Navy Midshipmen (+10.5) over South Florida Bulls – Gary “The Gut” nailed this pick, as Navy not only covered the spread but they won straight up. Final Score: Navy 41-38. Result: WON!
Michigan Wolverines (-11.5) over Northwestern Wildcats at Wrigley Field – This bet was looking good as Michigan led 21-9 after three quarters. Uh oh, don’t count your chickens until they hatch. Northwestern came back, made it a game, but the Wolverines won on a game-ending field goal. Final Score: Michigan 24-22. Result: Lost
Georgia Tech Wramblin’ Wreck (-16.5) over Boston College Eagles – This was just a bad pick. Boston College actually led 28-17 after three quarters until GTech stormed back. Final Score: Georgia Tech 36-34. Result: Lost
USC Trojans (-6.5) over Iowa Hawkeyes – Final Score: USC won 26-21. Result: Lost
Virginia Cavaliers (+4.5) over Duke Blue Devils – Final Score: Virginia 34-17. Result: WON!
