Conference USA (CUSA): Jacksonville State Gamecocks (8-4) (+2.5) over Kennesaw State Owls (9-3) – Kennesaw beat Jacksonville State, as the Vegas experts predicted. Final Score: Kennesaw 19-15. Result: Lost
Sun Belt Conference (SBC): James Madison Dukes (11-1) (-23.5) over Troy Trojans (8-4) – Final Score: James Madison won by only 17 points, 31-14. Result: Lost
American Athletic Conference (AAC): North Texas Mean Green (11-1) (-2.5) over Tulane Green Wave (10-2) – Final Score: Tulane won 34-21. Result: Lost
Mountain West Conference (MWC): Boise State Broncos (8-4) (-5.5) over UNLV Runnin’ Rebels (10-2) – Final Score: Boise St. won by 17 points, 38-21. Result: WON!
Big 12 Conference: BYU Cougars (11-1) (+12.5) over Texas Tech Red Raiders (11-1) – Gary was duped for a second time this season with the same matchup. This time, Texas Tech won by even more than the first game. Final Score: Texas Tech 34-7. Result: Lost
Mid-American Conference (MAC): Western Michigan Broncos (8-4) (-1.5) over Miami (Ohio) Redhawks (7-5) – Western Michigan won their first conference title since 2016. Final Score: Western Michigan 23-13. Result: WON!
Southeastern Conference (SEC): Georgia Bulldogs (11-1) (-2.5) over Alabama Crimson Tide (10-2) – Georgia smoked Alabama 28-7. Result: WON!
Big Ten Conference (B1G): Indiana Hoosiers (12-0) (+4) over Ohio State Buckeyes (12-0) – Last week we wrote: “Not only is Gary picking Indiana to beat the spread in this one, he’s picking IU to win S/U!….. Indiana’s defense is underrated. Watch out!” We were right. The Hoosiers looked incredible, taking down the #1 Buckeyes. Guess who’s #1 now? Result: WON!
Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC): Virginia Cavaliers (10-2) (-3.5) over Duke Blue Devils (7-5) – This was a crazy championship game. Duke won 27-20 in Overtime. Result: Lost

Buffalo Bills (-5.5) over Cincinnati Bengals – Final Score: Buffalo won by five points, 39-34. The hook got us once. Result: Lost
Houston Texans (+3.5) over Kansas City Chiefs – Houston is tough as advertised. Final Score: Houston 20-10. Result: WON!
Jacksonville Jaguars (+1.5) over Indianapolis Colts – The Jags won as a home ‘dog. Final Score: Jacksonville 36-19. Result: WON!
Los Angeles Rams (-8.5) over Arizona Cardinals – Final Score: Los Angeles Rams won and covered by 28 points, 45-17. Result: WON!
Miami Dolphins (-3) over New York Jets – Miami is hot, beating the Jets by 24 points, 34-10. Result: WON!
Denver Broncos (-7.5) over Las Vegas Raiders – The Broncos won by 7 points, 24-17. The hook got us twice. Result: Lost
Chicago Bears (+6.5) over Green Bay Packers – Last week Gary wrote, “Gary wishes this line was 7.5, but it’s not.” Final Score: Green Bay won by seven points, 28-21. We knew, just knew, this was gonna happen. The hook got us thrice, that’s three times. Three losses in NFL games by a half-point. Result: Lost

Gary’s “Lucky Seven” NFL Selections
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-4.5) over Atlanta Falcons on TNF – Tampa has been poor recently, but they’re gonna break out of their slump soon. Let’s hope it starts tonight on Thursday Night Football, as the Buccaneers will wear their creamsicle throwback uniforms in honor of 50 years of the franchise! LFB! PICK: Tampa
Denver Broncos (+2.5) over Green Bay Packers – Denver is 11-2 and is a home underdog. You know what’s crazy? New England is also 11-2 and is also a home ‘dog. When is the last time that happened??? PICK: Denver
Kansas City Chiefs (-4.5) over Los Angeles Chargers – K.C. is a home favorite over the hot L.A. Chargers. However, the Chargers just won an emotional overtime game on Monday Night, so they have had a short week of rest and preparation. Kansas City is up against the ropes. We see them winning this game, covering the spread. PICK: Kansas City
Las Vegas Raiders (+11.5) over Philadelphia Eagles
Tennessee Titans (+12.5) over San Francisco 49ers
Indianapolis Colts (+13.5) over Seattle Seahawks
New York Jets (+13.5) over Jacksonville Jaguars – All four of these selections by Gary are based on a philosophy, that being that these point spreads are too high. Sure, all four of these games will probably go in the Win column for the favorites. However, Gary doesn’t think these four favorites will cover the spread. In fact, he sees all four underdogs covering. PICK: Las Vegas, Tennessee, Indianapolis, and New York Jets
Gary “The Gut” was oh so close to making it four straight weeks of winners. However, he broke even at 8-8 for the week due to three huge hooks in NFL games. If those three hooks had gone the other way, we’d be looking at an 11-5 weekend. That’s how close it was for Gary. But, you gotta move forward.
So we move toward mid-December. It’s a small slate of games, with just one college special rivalry game prior to bowl games starting next week. Good luck and….. Go Navy! Beat Army! Also, go NFL underdogs!
