Gary keeps rolling! Another solid week last week. Let’s recap it:

Army Black Knights (+6) over Memphis Tigers – Final Score: Memphis won 49-22. Result: Lost
Iowa Hawkeyes (-3.5) over Wisconsin Badgers – Final Score: Iowa shutout Wisconsin 30-0. Result: WON!
BYU Cougars (-16.5) over Arizona St. Sun Devils – Final Score: BYU won, but did NOT cover, 27-20. Result: Lost
Minnesota Golden Gophers (+20.5) over Indiana Hoosiers – Final Score: Minnesota had it, but lost it 23-16 in overtime, in a crazy B1G game. Result: WON!
TCU Horned Frogs (-5.5) over Kansas Jayhawks – Final Score: TCU barely covered, winning 22-16. Result: WON!
Georgia Bulldogs (-12.5) over Florida Gators – Final Score: Georgia won easily, 27-8. Result: WON!
Stanford Cardinal (+22.5) over Louisville Cardinals – Final Score: Louisville won 52-24. Do the math and you’ll get a 28 point victory. Result: Lost
USC Trojans (+6.5) over Ohio State Buckeyes – Final Score: USC handed it to OSU, winning 30-18. Result: WON!
Nebraska Cornhuskers (-7.5) over Washington Huskies – Oh my beloved Cornhuskers… no matter what we do, we can’t hold on. Nebraska should have won easily, but ohmygosh, somehow blowing not only the spread, but also the game S/U, despite outgaining Washington in total yards by a lot (387-267). Final Score: Washington won 17-10. Result: Lost

Buffalo Bills (-3) over Baltimore Ravens – Final Score: Buffalo dominated Baltimore, winning 36-10. Result: WON!
Los Angeles Rams (-6.5) over Los Angeles Chargers – The L.A. Rams beat the L.A. Chargers 24-9, thus covering the spread. Result: WON!

LOCK OF THE WEEK: Iowa Hawkeyes (+2.5) over Northwestern Wildcats – Gary thinks Iowa is a MUCH better team than Northwestern. He’s surprised that the ‘Hawks are underdogs. PICK: Iowa
GAME OF THE WEEK: Notre Dame Fighting Irish (-7.5) over Miami Hurricanes – This is the game Notre Dame has been waiting for. They are at home in South Bend. They are lucky to have the ‘Canes #1 target out injured with a sprained ankle (Malachi Toney). ND’s defense is superb. PICK: Notre Dame
BYU Cougars (+5.5) over Utah Utes – The Holy War! Both teams are in the top ten. Both teams are also excellent ATS (BYU 6-2, Utah 7-1). So something has gotta give. Gary thinks the Cougars are going to keep this closer than 5.5 points, if not win the game straight up. PICK: BYU
LSU Tigers (-5.5) over Alabama Crimson Tide – “The Gut” is starting to doubt ‘Bama. For awhile there this season, he was riding the Tide, winning money with them in Week 2 over Kentucky, in Week 4 over South Carolina, and again in Week 5 over Mississippi St. Gary rode that hot streak, but he lost money on Alabama finally in Week 7 at Tennessee. So he’s 3-1 on the year betting ‘Bama. Gary is also good betting on LSU, going 2-1 on the year thus far. In this one, we’re looking out for the home field advantage in Tiger Stadium. PICK: LSU
